Every effort will be made to keep the web site as up to date as possible, now we are having a stunning new British kitten from our good friend Sue Gibbon of Acme Brits.
When we were deeply involved in the British Shorthairs, we let so few kittens leave us on the active register in many ways it back has fired, having lost our line as our girls retired finding a suitable kitten to start again has proved to need patience in the bucket loads.
It is said that patience is a virtue and we over the moon to be having a gorgeous new baby who is from four generations of our own Katakoustiks line.
Sue has been so good to not only look after so well the Katakoustiks girls she bought from us but in addition to improve the British type in the kittens she has bred by very carefully planning their selective matings.
In our four years out of the British Show section, there have been many changes and we are looking forward to getting to grips with the newer aspects.
We have stayed in contact with our friends in British Shorthairs, also by working diligently for the British Shorthair Club and this has held us deeply with ties that bind for a breed we love.
So what else have we been doing for four years ?
We moved house, downsizing from a family house to a much smaller house as our children left home to start their own married lives. Life as we knew it got so much easier without large gardens and a big house to manage.
John has moved within his work structure of management from Depot to Depot each move bringing fresh challenges and rewards.
Christine has studied hard and trained as a Homeopath, and a Bach Flower General Practitioner. Currently training to become in addition a Herbalist. Promising that she will find time to take her Ph d this year, in between this, writing a regular feature for 'Our Cats' Newspaper.
Cats have as always continued to be a major part of our life we also have two Siamese girls, we show under our Siamese prefix of Simplisiam.
